Lunch on the Terrace

On August 22, 2012 by Greg

No hot dog stands today. I’m having sesame chicken for lunch while enjoying the beautiful weather on the terrace. It’s shaded here, and a nice breeze is passing through. I think some brilliant architect designed this building with sesame chicken and wireless in mind.

From this location I can see the World Of Coke, the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Park, and Turner Field in the distance. It’s all right here. It’s a great view, as I believe all the tallish buildings are on the other side, out of my view.

Spent most of the morning reading more documentation and taking notes. Just the simple act of writing down notes helps me to retain this knowledge. Had a meeting today and finally got to meet the rest of the team. Seems like I’m in good company. They are all smart, likeable, and good looking. I’ll fit right in.

One very important thing I’ve learned today: the coffee maker requires two packs of coffee, otherwise it’s just colored water. If you make colored water in the office, they will point and laugh.
